This is very funny and I look forward to see what the other evil characters are all about. The first thing I am wondering which I normally wouldn't is.. . Can they sing? Captain Hammer having been the captain of the Jupiter 2 in series Firefly, that got the hammer way too soon, is a nice touch. Smashingly funny.

I really liked the woman lead which I usually do in new shows so that doesn't say much except maybe I need to get out on a date soon. It was the Serenity. I just wanted people to think I was wrong for three seconds. Although Gene Roddenberry was brilliant too.

Clearly younger and slightly hotter. NPH's mannerisms are even very much alike. I just watch a Gordon Ramsey's F word marathon on BBC America - they really do look so much alike... lol

I like this ending. It isn't a happy ending, but it works that way. Penny dies, so Dr. Horrible becomes an official villain. At the same time, her death breaks him emotionally, pushing him towards evil. It's really a pretty impressive twist too, considering how we tend to expect the protagonist to win entirely in the end.

Penny being Bad Horse would be too much of a stretch and cheesy. See 5 other replies

Wow! one of the best things I have seen and heard in years. Almost as good as Spring Awakening (if that was made into a film) Neil is excellent . The story and music are awesome. I have watched it twice and I'm going to buy the DVD even though I can see it here for free. It's that good.

I agree. This show totally did away with many of the stereotypes about superheroes and villians. Dr. Horrible wanted to be an evil overlord, but at the same time he wanted to be a good person for Penny and didn't want to hurt anyone. Hammer was an egotistical jerk who showed in the end that he had less moral compunctions than Dr. Horrible. He just liked to punch people and have them look up to him. It was all incredibly well done. See 3 other replies

I thought the ending was really good. Yes, I'd have liked to see Dr. Horrible end up with Penny, but it was still an amazing show. The ending was good because it depicted the subtleties of human emotions and actions. Also, wouldn't it be boring if every movie and show had a picture-perfect happy ending? See 5 other replies
