Years ago, when I first watched this episode, I was absolutely shocked at what I had seen. It started out normal and at the end, there was a bizarre twist. The actors were wonderful in their parts and made you feel what they felt. This episode proves that Alfred Hitchcock knew how to get his message across (and shock the audience) on television as well as on film.

out of about a dozen from the entire series' run. An interesting cast, also -- Vera Miles, about 5 years before her shot at primordial scream-queen stardom in "Psycho" and the underappreciated Ralph Meeker, seething with repressed anxiety and rage. This (comparatively) restrained performance is interesting to compare with the hypomanic hostility of his Mike Hammer in Aldrich's hallucinatory and nightmarish "Kiss Me Deadly," also from 1955.

Mr. Hitchcock has scared and perplexed me for many a year. Glad to see Hulu has the foresight to pay homage to the masters. I can't wait to get to the rest.

You know Im 28 and I love older films and this so far has grabbed me. Thank you Hulu for putting these shows on!

hitch was the greatest director ever. from his psych. thrillers to his cuts at the advirtisments that no one could get away with today - long live Hitch! the greatest of all time - copolla, scorsesse, gilliam, hanks, spielberg, lucas, welles, everybody owes hitch and hitch owns them ALL!
