Superb
An intelligent story exploring the psychology of men confronting their own mortality. How sociopaths will twist situations like a pretzel to achieve their ends. The acting is understated and believable. The actors have an amazing presence on screen especially Palance. The sets are excellent . The movie rings true.

When it comes to gritty movies, you cannot go wrong with an Aldrich film. Palance gives an over the top performance in this award winning War Film .
