Yeah, they're called Bison, we nearly put them to extinction. Just like we almost put those who hunted them to extinction, wolves and Native Americans.

The Serengeti — it may well be the most photographed place on earth. Enjoy productions like this one, because it is too expensive to film there, any more. The animals have all wised up and joined the Screen Actor's Guild (SAG), and many of them have retained major talent agencies. Sadly, most nature photographers just do not have sufficient budgets to sign them, and no one is interested in a film that is limited to just the plant life. The old films can be shown without concern about residuals, though, because they predate any of the current contracts.
Great filming, but I wish they'd leave out the Disney-type music. We don't need a constant flow of music to be inspired by nature's beauty. I was impressed with the statement about growing populations putting pressure on this sanctuary. This and places like them all over the world will quickly vanish if humans continue to breed with such reckless abandon.
