I love the up close footage of great white sharks feeding. If you have ever went on a shark cage dive you'd know just how 1. rare and 2. time consuming it is to get footage like this. I agree that the style is dated, that's where we need to review in context, this was created in 1992. That's 16 years ago people. A lot has been discovered and reported and shared about sharks since then. The divers and scientist who worked on this film shared to the best of their knowledge and ability at the time. I for one would like to say thank you, I respect and thank them for their courage. :)
