I found the lump the day after my birthday and was diagnosed with breast cancer one month later. I had nearly 7 months of chemo (which is hell only with an end) and begin radiation tomorrow morning. I am very young, too young for breast cancer, but someone forgot to tell the cancer that. I have lost my business, my hair (which was like spun gold) and part of my breast but I'm going to live. My hair is already growing back, I can restart my business as soon as I get my strength back, and it's amazing what the right kind of clothes can disguise. It is possible to fight cancer even without health care (which I don't have). There are people willing to help. Livestrong.org (the Lance Armstrong Foundation) is a great resource, The first advice my doctor gave me was to be extremely careful about my sources of information. There is allot of misinformation out there as well as old information. This documentary was good and presents an accurate as well as hopeful picture.
