I don't know whether it was horrible acting, horrible writing, or horrible casting but Morrison's "interrogation," winner of the 2006 "Galaxy's Worst Interrogation or Portrayal of An Interrogation" of the mom was so irritating I could barely get through the episode just to find out what happens. I would have doomed the entire planet to painful extinction just to spite that epic megab***h in the face of such a profoundly annoying scene.
Also, I realize this is rather old news given the age of the series, but almost all these characters are awful. Except for Han Solo, they have almost no distinguishing features apart from utterly wooden personalities and some sort of disorder that freezes b****y expressions on their faces no matter what they're saying. Oh, wait, one of them has Aspberger's and reminds everyone of the differential diagnosis whenever he behaves annoyingly. So that's something.
