I thought the movie brought up a lot of interesting points. I personally think not everyone is doing it. (Making music) Everyone can but not everyone is. Statements like this are usually out of frustration. If there's music I don't like it, that doesn't mean it sucks, it's just not for me. If your a true fan of music, you'll seek out the music you like. As a jazz musician, I think it's great that artist are reconnecting with their audience by performing live more now a days. I remember gigging with my friends and if we were lucky, someone would bring a mic and recorder to record the show. We didn't have an ALBUM, we just played gigs and made a living. And there were some fun times. I think the MAN or INDUSTRY needs to let go of control and let us artist do our thing. We don't need some guy sitting on top making all the money and telling the public what's good and what's not. We don't need a bunch of lawyers complicating things and make us lose the true spirit of why we do this. (It's not to sale units!!) This is probably why we share music online in the first place, because some dumb car salesman bought the radio stations and started shoving the same crap down our throats. DJ's aren't even DJ's anymore they get a stupid play list. Hurray!!! for the independent artist, and if you want to make a good living and want to be famous well than make something remarkable. Something that is worth making a remark about and spread to friends and loved ones. That's how you make it, AND LEARN YOUR CRAFT!!!! THERE IS NO HIDING ON STAGE BUDDY!!!Cool flick, I enjoyed it.
