I don't think half of these business owners deserve this opportunity. They may really love the place, but these owners can't fix simple problems in the restaurant, have no idea what their staff is doing, and have no idea what's in their kitchen! Any owner who cannot keep track of his or her staff, kitchen, and sanitation does not deserve to have a thriving business. Although Gordon and his team may do a great job of attracting diners and changing the restaurant, I doubt many of these owners has what it takes to keep it up. I hope some do, however.
GET OVER THE $300 MEAL ALREADY! SOME PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO SPEND THAT MUCH FOR A MEAL, YOU DON'T HAVE TO!
It is impossible to organize something so extensive without pre-planning and sponsors, but the point of television is to tell a story! There are plenty of other shows out there that are guilty of the same things, it's television! I doubt Gordon Ramsay edits this footage first-hand to make him look good. The producers decide how to market it to make the show the most successful!
