Nanny Brings Fun
I remember watching and enjoying this series as a child. It was a lot of fun then and is still fun to watch now. Kim Richards is adorable as Richard Long's daughter, Prudence. The boys, Butch and Hal, also ad to the fun of the show. Not quite Bewitched and a little bit short of I Dream of Jeannie, this Mary Poppins like show is fun for the entire family. Too bad TV doesn't bring us this kind of clean fun anymore. I'll take "Nanny" over "Desperate Housewives" any day!

Charming Under rated series from the 1970's
There is no doubt where the inspiration for this 70's series came from. That of course would be Mary Poppins, but yet Juliet Mills as the charming Phoebe is quite different. Whereas Poppins was open and obvious about her magical abilities, one can never even really sure if Phoebe had any magical powers at all. A lot of the things that happen could easily be chalked up to strange coincidences, leaving you guessing along with the Everett family guess as to what's what.
This show wasn't on long, and was underrated and under appreciated. Both Richard Long and Juliet Mills strike just the right notes that bring this series and concept to life. The kids are fine, never too overly precociou. David Doremus was fine as the ever skeptical and suspicious Hal trying to prove that there's more to this particular Nanny than meets they.
