Jeebus, people, don't get your panties in a bunch. I know it' sucks for panty-bunching prigs who love to get offended, but in case you didn't notice, the play wasn't making fun of the 9/11 tragedy.

The joke was the drama instructor (who was the writer of "Osama!") was a self-aggrandizing hack (on top of being a general jerk). The play was totally in poor taste, because the drama instructor is the kind of poor-taste prick who would write a schlocky musical capitalizing on a tragedy.. Educated audiences don't have to have this pointed out to them.

Anybody see "The Producers"? About a couple of guys who decide to produce the play "Springtime for Hitler: A Gay Romp with Adolf and Eva at Berchtesgaden"? It was written less than 15 years after the Holocaust. HUGE hit in America.

Osama had nothing to do with 9-11 according to the U.S. Government, the CIA and the FBI. Technically Osama was a US ally for many years (Until he angered the wrong person). Also the comment that we'd never even heard of AlQaeda previous to 9-11 (an organization the U.S.A. created to keep the USSR our of the middle east)?? Because of those two falsehoods I found it VERY distasteful. Factual would have been better! See 19 other replies

Hahaha, the only people who have a right to be offended by this are dead. Ooooh, it's so distasteful because people died. Seriously, everyone dies. Don't think you're special. You're going to die too. So will I. That's just the way it is. I can't explain it, and neither can you. If you feel like deluding yourself, I'd recommend drugs and/or Sesame Street. Living in newyork city, through 9/11, i still found this hilarious. If your going to make a 9/11 play, this is a pretty tastefull way to do it. I mean, someone had to eventually, and this was both hilarious and a play id love to see. See 19 other replies

Even though i think this episode felt really random, and i dont know who the hell this sketch person is, i thought it was a good play. I could relate every character in this show to someone in my life except her. As for the whole september 11th thing, im an american, borin and raised. I went though september 11th and the after math. I lived in Pennsylvaina at the time and went thought the horror of potentially being the next city and state to be targeted. With all the fear and vivid emotions from that time in my life, I WAS STILL ABLE TO FIND THE PLAY FUNNY! Who ever finds it offensive should seriouly relax on the situation.
