Getting caught up on S3 tonight. The first three episodes didn't impress me. This one however did, and reminded me why I became a LXD fan.
Elliot Hoo was so much fun to watch. I enjoyed both the 'bad' dancing when he thought the shoes weren't working, and the smooth joyful moves after the seamstress gave him confidence. Actually, the 'bad' moves looked more difficult to pull off, and Harry as usual made it look like the shoes were dancing and dragging Elliot along. The 'good' dancing was just delightful; my favorite bit was Elliot spinning fiercely on his knees with an umbrella in his arm (minor quip about camera angle: when the spotlighted dancer spins on his knees, please don't keep the camera on his upper body)
The seamstress and her helpers were great. I could've done without her accent, but her dancing more than made up for it. The Fanboyz brought it as always; I wish they got their own episode this season. Sp3ciman and Copeland didn't have as much to do, but they did well in their bits, and Sp3ciman got his spotlight ep coming up. I can't wait to see Madd Chadd kill it again.
Onto ep 5
