Just because these women spoke about how proud they were to be black you felt that it was black supremacy? It seems like someone has some internal issues. Clearly you did not read the description of the movie thoroughly before you made such an ignorant/arrogant comment, but I guess ignorance is bliss.

I feel this film was ok, it just went on and on and on and on. It seemed more of a lecture than a doc. film. It was very of African-American/Black Supremacy based, which was very irritating. I wish they would have showed more work, and lectured less about the Supremacy of AA/Black people with quilting communities.

what an amazing craft, is like a painting. rich in cuture that is kept from generation to generation. i have a small guilt, my great grandmother made. it's hanging on my wall.

A beautiful piece on Quilt Art. I still have quilters in my family. Our family created a quilt of all family members from different states. So this art is familiar to me. I'm happy that the time was taken to recognize this art work.
