I couldn't get over some of the historical issues. For example this episode shows the narrator as a young boy. If we are assuming he is telling the story in our time and say he is around 50 or 60 the year wouldn't have been as far back. Yet when we meet the extraordinary 7 and the camera pans back and forth over the crowd the people are not dressed appropriately. There is even a girl in the crowd with a fedora! I know this is nit picky but these are the little details that make a series amazing! On the positive side I do love the dancers...but the actors can use a little work. Whenever a character speaks I just don't believe it. It sounds fake. Perhaps it is the writing. Whatever it is, it isn't enough to keep me away.

After watching the first three eps, I think this is the best of the three. I agree with previous posts that the director is distracting us from the dance with all the crazy editing and camera tricks. This show is best when he keeps it simple and just shows off the dancers' talent and personalities. I don't see any stand-outs so far in this season.I really wish the story didn't start in a circus. Ugh. This backstory doesn't really explain anything either. Even for this show, it's pretty confusing. How exactly did this all get started? Not how I envisioned it at all. Disappointing.

I absolutely love this show and have enjoyed every episode. This is a great start to the season if you ask me. The only complaint I have is WTF is with the volume. I had to constantly adjust my volume. The bollywood scene was so loud I had to turn my speakers down. Then they started talking and I couldn't hear anything. I love how volume transitions in shows and movies. This episode for volume transition was a complete fail. I shouldn't have to constantly adjust my volume while watching any show or movie. I hope this was a one time mistake. It seems so because the ep. 2 was just fine. All in all love the show and look forward to this season.
