It's quite amazing that a cartoon that is seemingly made in a "Transformer/GI Joe" style can try and tackle such deep and complex ideas as why somebody would betray their own race/country. This sort of thing is not appreciated in today's cartoons and I would like to see this sort of cartoon opera make a comeback.
Each episode brings in new conflict other than the struggle against the Neo-Sappiens. The 1980' and 1990's was truly the golden age of cartoons. Producers where more willing to cut their teath into heavier subjects.
This series reminds me of the X-men series.
