I have to say after watching the two episodes that immediately precede this one, that I tend to much more enjoy the more sci-fi slanted stories. Those really crackled with imagination and excitement. This one, involving an attempted theft of the Mona Lisa, was a little more interesting than those enemy-agents-of-a-hostile-foreign-power-kinda-spy ones, but I still found myself checking my email and doing other things while just listening to it, rather than sitting here in rapt attention. But at least it didn't have Santa Claus show up.
I know the more far out ones, especially those in the later color seasons, get some grief, but here in the early b&w land of Voyage they don't seem all that campy. And hey, it's not like these stories will ever involve werewolves and diabolical marionettes, right?
