The farm mentioned is such a great concept whether the city, the community or a “robber baron” owns it. If it is public space make it for everyone by making a nice big green park for an indefinite number of users…. If it is private then sell it to the farmers…. If all 350 farmer pays $100.00 per month that is $35,000 per month…. Work a deal with the city. A $35,000 per month payment for 30 years gets you a 5 million dollar property. What you spend your money on shows what you care about and what you think is important. Is it worth a $100 a month to pass on a way of life….. This seems important to me…. I would give up my cell phone, cable TV and cut back on movies and eating out to get fresh fruit and vegetables. You want it and want to control it then buy it and OWN IT….. The American people are guaranteed the right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness…. There is no right to be happy, so stop protesting and purse happiness not by demanding it, but by going to get it…..

The robber barons continue to crush honest working people who live their values, I'm ashamed of our justice system. I live my values the best I can and encourage others to do the same but this fine film is a great example of why I don't know what else to do. The sustainable living movement has been statistically insignificant my entire life and I'm sorry to feel that it will remain so for the rest of my life!!! Moderation Kills and wasting energy to reason with unreasonable people or systems gets your garden torn up, so sad...................

The owner of the land (Horowitz) was entitled to get the land back or value of the land since the City took it under eminent domain. But it is really a shame to see how everyone couldn't have figured this out. Its obvious that the land wasn't going to be worth the aggravation to Horowitz after he took it back and the community was making very good use of the land. And according to Wikipedia, the land is still vacant. What a shame because these people were taking care of themselves and their families and providing greenspace in an urban area. Unfortunately to alot of people in the community it only appears that something was done to them for no reason. Tragic indeed.

When that man sold the property for the same offer the people offered , that tells me that he was not a human being . He done it for spite . Now even personal gardens are being attacked by the food safety act that has been passed , I stand free and will not be told what to eat or what i grow on my own land . People wake up and be informed on what your government is doing , don't be blind sided . Thank you for this show .

There are so many things wrong with this that I can't comment on it all. Just watch the video. The nonsense that exists in our society such as this needs to end.
