Its a bit hard to sell the angle that Kane is some kind of supernatural phenom that can't be defeated when in the past few weeks he has been cleanly pinned by both Mark Henry and Chavo Guererro. In fact, in both those cases, Kane didn't even sustain any big move in which you might expect someone to be pinned.
An even more absurd pinfall was the match between Estrada and Hornswoggle. Estrada came in fresh, slipped on some marbles causing him to fall on his butt. Estrada then gets in ring, and Hornswoggle falls on top of him and pins Estrada. Its as if pinfalls have almost nothing to do with the actual performance in the ring. Sometimes the scripted events call for a performer to get hit in the head 20 times with a hammer or ringpost or get smased dozens of times from 12 foot leaps and still bounce back.. while other times they get one minor move put on them and they are pinned.
I don't think some of the wrestlers nor referees care about making any effort to put on a good show and make this look believable.
