I do not think this video addressed the title subject at all. The head of this company explained his product ('robots' that bring product to stationary workers for assembly vs. workers collecting product) which is revamped assembly line. He explained how versatile and how many companies should buy one. He does not go into how small a company should be to afford such an elaborate system (the video used shots of his system being used at a Staples warehouse so I guess this supports the big box retailer market) and he does little more than simply promote his productMost importantly, his only/main example of 'how robots think differently' was likened to driving in Manhattan. (how the robots 'drive roadways' to the worker and the door so the worker doesn't have to move. How is that different? And if it is - didn't they learn that FROM humans? - and another thing his example of Manhattan driving didn't consider pedestrians - those workers better stay on those little orange mats or they might get struck my the zooming racks of product!Lastly, it was a sad comment on his view of the human worker. He mentions how the robots move slower to match the slower employee. How ALL that this robot system does is transport items sorted & packed by humans to another spot in a warehouse where humans can then resort & repackage simply cutting out the single task. How much does this cost versus re-arranging your warehouse or by being a good employer that encourages productivity fro its staff? The guy basically chunked up the Henry Ford assembly line with the use of heavy-duty Roomba floor cleaners. It was nothing about how robots think - the title was designed for hype?
