As a disabled person I have many hours of boredom to overcome. You may say go to college but wen you have to take very strong narcotics to bee able to just function, it is not a possibility.

I have never saw this James Stewart movie before and it had me laughing so hard it hurt.

The old sets where something movies are missing now and the cast was great of course James made the movie click but it was just a plain. fun. & clean movie about poor people back when this was how they fought boredom!

I give it five stars and it is in my play list.

You have to really give it a chance if you start to watch it.

It is slow to start.

Jimmy Stewart and Paulette Goddard chemistry that made the movie. The supporting cast captures the essence of Stewart & Goodard and delivers and outstanding movie to watch.

Why can we not have actors and actresses as these two greats now?

What a wonderful treat! Jimmy Stewart at his best....have'nt seen this film for 30 years, and it was like meeting an old friend again....Paulette Goddard and the boys in the band were a real gasser.....screwball comedy and all the trimmings of an old fashioned musical....and not to seem ungrateful, hulu, but how about MORE JIMMY STEWART MOVIES?...."Bend of the River" comes to mind....Spirit of St. Louis, HARVEY......you hit the mother lode with Pot O' Gold.....

It's far from great, but it's still a pretty fair movie with some good old songs.
