lol every christian or anyone with a modicum of biblical knowledge will positively laugh their asses off watching this. how dumb. must have used the clift notes to write the script. and no just because you say something in italian/latin doesnt make it special or even ancient. werent Angels supposed to be good looking, then what happened to christopher walkens ugly ass being Gabriel. oh and i'm soooo tired of jennifer beals being put in films to pass for anything other than the half black half white heffer she is. film was lame o. only good thing in it was the hot angel and Brittany.

Maybe I could have enjoyed it more without the Shelley Duvall look alike. This main actress is just bad placement, she doesn't fit w/ the extremely attractive angel that finds her and mates w/ her.

The imagery of this movie has moved across the landscape of my mind since I first saw in in the late 1990's. Christopher Walken is exceptional as the arrogent angel Gabriel who seeks to end the human reign as the beloved of God and return to the way it was when God loved the angels most. Hey, I don't know where they get this stuff from, it's not in the bible; but it's fun to watch. Britney Murphy plays Izzy, Walkens human sidekick; and I felt kind of sad this time through she died since the last time I saw it). Jennifer Beals is as lovely and talented as ever and Eric Roberts makes a cameo as the Archangel Michael.

Out of all the Prophecy movies this one is my favorite, but some of the characters who have bit parts here have bigger parts in the first. Give it a try.

Loved this. The cast was excellent and they made the whole thing believable. The action just kept coming along with excitement and antisipation. It was very hard to hear though. I had my ear almost right next to the speaker, just far enough away to see the film. got a kink in my neck. Please Hulu fix the volumne.
