This was a show with real promise. The main character was spot on, ' Bob" was a great add on, and the friction/love/hate with Lt Murphy, would of been a great line to explore.
A couple of episodes aren't up to the same level as the rest, but, to many are just really good magical whodunits.
Sanctuary, which I tried to watch the first season, was lame, disjointed, not much fun to even try to watch. It grew, eventually, but had it been given the same scrutiny as Dresden Files, it would of been axed. It was only the lack of SG1, Stargate Atlantis, that allowed it to garner a following desperate for some Sci Fi.
This show I wish got picked up, like Babylon 5 did, by USA, or Lifetime, or somebody. It just had to much storyline left in it, to just drop it like it was.
They never even really get out of Chicago, what would of a turf war with Wizards of looked like ??? hmmmm..
I give it 5 stars not because every episode was that good, but because the idea behind it, the great pics for the actors, and like Star Trek: The Next Generation, its first season should of been a shakedown cruise. STTGN, was NOT that good its first season, but went on to huge success.
This show should of been at least 4, if not 5 seasons, and had it gotten the chance, maybe longer......
Just not enough imagination left out there, have to have it served up on electric silver platters anymore.. tsk tsk..
