This spooky story with a sweet heart is about pugnacious nurse June, who can see ghosts out of her left eye. Or is she really the sweet and earnest Siu Kam? Or is this actually about her erstwhile boyfriend Peter, a hairdresser who keeps trying to bring the bowl cut back? The story plays a lot with perspective, with a good many shots framed in mirrors and a plot that cleverly pulls seemingly disparate threads together by the end. There are also some very interesting tricks with sound - a character who would be behind you from the framed character's perspective actually sounds like they're behind you. It's a very immersive effect that also supports the movie's theme. Check this out if you're in the mood for a supernatural story with a bit of a lighter feel.
