This is a wonderful episode. From its awkwardly humorous beginning, we feel Johnny's confusion--and struggle--as he struggles to accept that the life he wakes up in--the life he always wanted. This episode brings to full dramatic light the tragedy of the series--and Johnny's constant dreams of "what might have been" confront him in full force. The "feel my heart sequence" is particularly heart-tugging (and is testament to the beautiful Nicole deBoer's skills as an actress)...and we feel for Johnny when we see the tear--we share his desire to accept that this is REAL.Alas...it is not to be.

Time line(s) should've been the title to this one. Bruce alluded to the delicacies of time lines and how butterfly effect can change things. I havn't watched this show but knew about it when it came out, I'm happy to have the opportunity to watch it now ( other things goin on at the time it first aired ) so Kudos to Hulu ( and Thanks ) for giving me this little gem. I knew that this one had to do with time lines in the 1st 5 min, it sets up a theme that can be revisited throughout each season. The 'what if''s makes ya think about yer own life and the possible 'what if's'.
I have a question for anyone who may be kind enough to shed some light on an anomoly I have noticed. Why does wikipedia say the 1st season's shows aired in 2002 and Hulu say's they aired starting in june of 1998. I've been trying to spot things in these 1st episodes that date the show like the year of Sheriff's police car (96 or 97' intrepid ) , any help would be appreciated.
