It's interesting to witness the social paradigms in this episode.
Generally speaking, the girls, on their dates, need to feel an emotional connection before they can make the physical connection. This is evident with the black girl not being attracted to her date because he wasn't intellectually stimulating for her, or wasn't entertaining her in a way that she found interesting. For this reason, the girls are in a bad position, because it will take more than one date to spark their attraction. For girls, it's a slow burn, consisting of friendship, trust, a feeling of safety, admiration, and on and one.
Guys, on the other hand, need to feel the physical connection and attraction before the mental connection. So, after their first date, they could be physically intimate because, for them, it's a release, and not that emotional as it is with girls.
The girls are taking a HUGE risk by coming on this show, because for the guys, it's like a buffet of hot girls and physical intimacy. The girls, on the other hand, are going to miss their long-term relationships while the guys frolic.
Another thing to point out, the girls in the relationships are not that attractive. The dark haired one, the lawyer I think, is pretty. The rest are average. Unfortunately, for the lawyer, her boyfriend is a complete self-absorbed _ _ _ h _ le. And that model guy, along with him, I'd like to punch both of them in the face, hard. They're total jerks.
