Is it just me or did all of the tv sitcoms in the 1970's have the same people doing the jingles to the intros? They often are in the same key, same tempo. Actually The One Day at a Time Theme reminds me a bit of The Jeffersons.

Yeah, that AGE issue got to me too! I'm 44, but I swear the "adults" in this show look and feel like they are right at my age or OLDER than me. As they say, you are as old as you feel. And not everyone grows older as gracefully as some in Hollywood as well. ;) See 4 other replies

I agree. Over the past few years I have often made the comment that this was one of the few really good series from the past that I had not recalled ever seeing in syndication since the shows were originally aired. It's almost like the production company lost the series for 35 years! See 3 other replies

Plus, cameras had SUPER CLEAN optics, even at 120 hz with 520 lines if you had an RCA or Zenith(color)( even without trinitron) you could generate pretty high res. See 4 other replies

I think it's important to remember, that in the 70's, lying was an art. For instance, when I was a teenager I remember numerous times when I would watch Franklin and Bernatelli shake they're cans in front of the camera and I would ##!!!!! & 88%# and 69** (eplitive deleted), & !!!#$%^

I am just horrified that she is supposedly 34 and he is 26???? I am 35 and feel like these two look like they could nearly be my parents!!! lol Is is the hair, the clothes the AWFUL putrid green on every surface in their apt casting bad lighting upon their faces!!! What in tarnation is going on here???
