I thought that the use of the word Panache in episode 6 was interesting. the word has been in use since the 1500's literally meaning "a tuft or plume of feathers." But the figurative meaning of the word was made famous by the play "Cyrano de Bergerac" written in 1898, at about the exact time these stories take place. Is it too early for them to know this word? Is it the same time as the play is being made famous? or has it been so widely viewed that the word has entered the common vocabulary?Just a thought.
