thanks : ) im moving back home mpls in august. i was living on the outskirts of edina, and i kinda hated it..... being an mpls kid, i never much liked st. paul, the roads make absolutely no sense lol : ) maybe some of tht is the old cities rivalry thing, too : ) lol but i think i might look around st. paul a bit. i really like that whole sub-divided home look. i hadn't seen much of that in south mpls when i was looking before. then again, i never really looked in lake of the isles, lol, i knew i couldnt afford that area. have you seen the homes behind the walker??? my gosh! those are really huge and beautiful as well! Actually sub-divided homes like this are not hard to find in Minneapolis. The home used for the filming of this show is currently a single family home (not to mention a multi-million dollar residence) in South Minneapolis 'Lake of Isles' neighborhood. Lake of Isles and Edina are very established and expensive, but check out out Saint Paul - there are far more old subdivided homes available there - many of the mansions on and around Summit ave divided in to quite affordable apartments.
