There are many things I really liked about this series. It was realistic. The idea was excellent. The character development was good. Here is where I thought it did better than some bigger budget series [ like Walking Dead for example ]. The plot continuation. It was engaging each and every episode. It didn't stall for three or four episodes then get back to the main plot [ like the WD ]. For me it was better than Blair Witch or other movies in this same genre. Mostly because the concept behind it was solid and very believable. I thought the flashbacks really added to the movie, especially the doctor and his eventual VHS later in the series. Excellent. I'm not sure why a terrorist organization would stick around for their bomb to blow up. You can't really expect any organization insane enough to release the toxin to be "rational". It also leaves you to think about where vengeance and revenge is really better than just walking away and escaping like Adam's group does. Which is probably why I think this does better than others in this genre - it's a movie that is character driven, and makes you think about ethical and moral issues that may or may not be related to the the movie. Two Thumbs Up!

I thought the acting was highlight of this series. Most of these guys were believable, but they obviously didn't have dozens of camera angles for every scene, which is what makes "good acting" after all. The camera-work was good for the budget. The fights and the action were pretty good.
Some of the dialogue was lame and repetitive. The conversation that never happened was, after 20+ days, the power grid was still fine? And why not tool around in the car of your choice?

I have nothing better to do atm, so I watched all 7 episodes. And I honestly say I liked it. Sure, the filming wasnt Hollywood stunning, but I expected that from an amateur film. The story line was slightly weak, and on a few occasions, made a bit confusing by the "flash backs". The thing is, these people put their heart and soul into the film. I kept half expecting the dead bodies to rise up as zombies... but hey, thats just me. I can totally understand why the students would stay on campus. Its "home" or comfortable to them, a safe place. I know that if I had no clue what was going on across the city/world, and had no contact from other people. I wouldnt wander far from home either. None of you would. The show did get better towards the end, as the smaller storylines came together. I have to say, I much prefer films like this, than the continuous flood of sequels and re-makes coming out of the seemingly uncreative Hollywood Machine.
