So agree... some of other guys aren't bad, but Ames is a stand out. The guy is smart, funny, well traveled, and a true gentleman. He's also a real man - who knows how to take his time with a girl and knows when it's time to make a move. I don't care that he wore pink and got his clock cleaned. He stepped up to every challenge and wore pink and looked good doing it. I soooo hope Ashley doesn't pick him cause I think he deserves a smarter woman. I also hope they make him the next Bachelor and that he finds someone phenomenal.

I also think Ames is a really wonderful guy and agree he's entirely genuine...but I don't think he's the ONLY redeeming man on the show. I think JP and Ben F are both great as well. Especially JP...Ben is a little awkward. I hope Ashley can stop second guessing everything. And I think the producers are jerks for not stepping in STILL about the whole Bentley thing.

I completely agree with you! and watching this show, Ames has been the only redeeming quality on in. It wasn't until the one on one date that I really started to see what a great guy he was, but every episode since, he just keeps proving himself! On the other hand, I thought Jake (from the Bachelor) was an amazing guy when he was on the Bachelorette, but once he was on the Bachelor, he turned out to be not as great as I had thought. I truly do believe that Ames is who he seems to be tho!

So gracious still under these terrible circumstances. Ashley is far too immature and insecure for this wonderful guy. Her radar should have tipped the second a quality person liked Ames stepped out of the limo. Instead look what she goes for ... the likes of Bentley. Just gross and speaks miles about HER.

I seriously love this man so much. He's suffering with an ongoing headache, dizzyness, difficulty even standing up, and when the doctor enters he goes out of his way to greet him and pull out a chair for him... what an incredible gentleman! Now that is a TRUE man, a man who treats ALL people with kindness, with NO ulterior motives outside of the kindness of his own heart! And he takes it all with that great smile of his. I seriously am so in love with this guy. ABC, please make Ames the new bachelor so I can go on the show and make him mine! What a beautiful man.

The guys probably signed a liability waiver before coming on the show because there are often potentially dangerous activities on dates-- bungee jumping, rappelling, etc. So I don't think he can sue. But it was clearly an accident... Ryan didn't mean to knock him so hard-- Ames just has never taken a hit to his head before... he's a sensitive, intellectual, not a fighter. He is still dizzy and nauseous because he has a slight concussion, they said. It will take a week to recover. He'll be ok, hopefully.
