I don't care what those other say negative about this movie, it is GENIUS! Sorry to be bias toward Johnny Depp, but ALL the movies he has been in has been A+++! This one is no exception!

Seriously? Really? A Jim Jarmusch film is "too artsy"??? I'm sorry, was Cigarettes and Coffee and Ghost Dog "too artsy" for ya? Seriously? This is like calling the Coen Brothers a "coupla wannabe jews from new york who'd rather be working the I Love Lucy show"
Jarmusch, Depp, and Neil Young....the movie is simply brilliant.

I am surprised I missed this one. I like Johnny Depp and have seen so many of his movies. I was pleasantly surprised to see something 'new' - to me. I liked this movie very much. It captured my attention and kept it. It had that small movie feel even though it sported lots of big name actors. I was especially excited to see Robert Mitchum. I grew up on his Westerns. I liked that this movie had that old Western feel to it. I appreciated the humor, and the outragiousness of some of the characters. Altogether worth the watch.

This bizarre western fantasy comedy is a bit too artsy for its own good. Shot in B&W to be sure you understand this is supposed to be a clever Art Film (rather than a "good movie"). The story and characters are generally okay, but it almost seem the writer and director had "creative differences" -- which is odd, since they are one and the same.

Johnny Depp films tend to be hit-or-miss. This one shoots from the hip . . . and misses.

Huluplus does have commercials for most films... though I feel you get a few less. Certain films like those in the criterion collection are commercial-less. This is my main complaint about it, but it's worth a few months if only for the criterion collection.
