This is the first film by writer-director Nicole Holofcener, whose films I love (maybe they're "chick flicks" b/c they have stong female leads and focus on females and relationships, but her films are also good date films...I personally like chick flicks with strong scripts, amazing actresses, that are dramedies or romantic dramedies). This film stars indie darling Catherine Keener (a frequent Holofcener collaborator) and Anne Heche. Holofcener also did "Lovely & Amazing" and "Friends with Money", which I highly recommend. Her most recent film, "Please Give", was not as strong as her prior ones, but I still enjoyed it. Hopefully this film will be released from Hulu Plus to everybody else soon. By the way, the 90 second preview (which consists of partial credits that don't even include Holofcener's name nor any film action) is totally lame...it would be much better for Hulu to provide trailers for Hulu Plus films to non-subscribers...this 90 seconds of abuse only makes me less likely to join.
