Note to anyone who doesn't realize...this show is NOT American Idol. Being a good singer is not what it's all about. It's about showcasing an incredible talent that has the ability to blow people away.

In my opinion, a nine year old boy with autism, who didn't even speak until after 3 years of age, who can put on a performance of this magnitude...IS amazing. And if you can't see that...stick to watching American Idol.

The only reason that people are voting five is because they feel "sorry" for him because of his autism. Obviously his autism isn't very advanced, otherwise he probably wouldn't even want to sing. Also this sounds nothing like Michael Jackson's Ben, and I'm pretty sure that tributes are supposed to sound like the original, somewhat.

Please tell me why a person with autism cannot express his or her talent without being given a chance to do that. Please tell me how Kaitlyn, no offense to her or her family, she is adorable, but she is four years old and sings like any other four year old has talent, but this child who has perfect pitch, remembered the lyrics, and sang this song so beautifully, cannot be given the same consideration? Did the audience know he had autism when they gave him a standing ovation? I want to find two people in that audience and find out what they felt when they heard this child sang his song.

It isn't even such great singing, its like quasi-monotonous...having autism and learning to speak is great but NOT a talent!

It's amazing how easily you guys are won over!
