Dench is as good as ever and Connolly provided the very best performance of his career. If this has been a proper film and not a BBC production, he would certainly have gotten an Oscar nomination. To the writers, actors, crew and everyone - very well done.

Anything Judi Dench is in is sure to be great.
Also -what a nice surprise to see Gerard Butler (before being Hollywoodized) as the brother Archie.
Not sure what they do to them in Hollywood but they always lose some of that magic spark once they start in the "A" movies.
