He didn't break the ice? 10,000 pound gorilla can jump on a thin little lake with ice and it stays? Stupid scene - a bit much I think even though there is supposed to be an underlying romance, they should have made it a little more subtle.

I think overall the film is so big and huge and over the top that it's got some good stuff going on. You have some really intriguing scenes, but also a lot of really tacky corny ...
