Rating_fullRating_fullRating_fullRating_fullRating_full Classic Lynch
If you don't know Lynch you won't understand his painfully slow way of filming. He's all about the psychology that goes on in your mind and the unspeakable things that may be going through the mind are scenes Lynch captures the most. You know those insane thoughts from obsession to jealousy, bondage to possession and acting on them or not. It refreshing to watch this film again there’s really no director out there that can do what Lynch has done.

Rating_fullRating_emptyRating_emptyRating_emptyRating_empty OMG - Worse Bill Pullman has ever done!
I read the other Reviews of nonsensical jargon. A few people trying to make sense of nonsense... trying to make this movie seem interesting. Dancing around the TRUTH! This film dragged on and on and on. The dark, dimly lit house drove me nuts. You had to strain to hear them talk, WHEN they spoke the few lines they had at all. Then it would BLAST in the next scene. I mean this film is such nonsense. I tried to get through it, but it is a REAL STINKER! You'd have to be on drugs to enjoy the flashes of insanity scenes throughout this film. BAD - BAD - OH SO ROTTEN!

Rating_fullRating_fullRating_fullRating_fullRating_empty Patricia Arquette is not an angel
Oh my God! I would not have ever dreamed her (Patricia Arquette) to be such a hottie in any movie... a long way from mom in the Medium.

Rating_fullRating_fullRating_fullRating_fullRating_empty Interesting/provocative/creepy
Have you ever had a nightmare where, nothing made sense to you but everyone around you seemed to either not see the abnormality or not care? That's the best way to describe the feel of this film. As long as you take it for what it is; a surreal dream/nightmare of Fred Madison where you're never really sure if what is happening on screen is reality or someone else's insanity.

If nothing else, I gotta agree with KURTDOG: Patricia Arquette is hot in this film and spends the majority of it having sex... And i do mean the majority lol

Rating_fullRating_fullRating_fullRating_fullRating_empty I miss the 90's soo bad
in my opinion lynch's worst film (it's no twin peaks or blue velvet) in that the summation is the exercise...so 90's: 'it doesn't have to make any sense! just give it a lil twist at the end...' i miss that attitude very much, sorta. gratuitous nudity throughout on behalf of miss patricia arquette certainly keeps the film...progressive.

Rating_fullRating_fullRating_fullRating_fullRating_full Extraorarily Puzzling...yet Beguillingly sweet
this thriller pulls you in and does'nt let go. it takes you for a ride on that ever recognizable highway that director David Lynch loves to take us on, the flavor of mulhuland drive but with a twist of lime. yum...my hats off to you if you understand the torment of this feature.

Rating_fullRating_fullRating_fullRating_fullRating_full Chew On It
This is not a standard formulaic film. It is a classic "other" film. The plot and characters are paradoxical and woven in such a way that is busy or confusing. I always find new and interesting tidbits. Most books you read once and forget. Same with most movies. This one takes time to digest. No burger here - this is a juicy sirloin.
