I enjoyed the series? A nice mix of drama, comedy and twists. I enjoyed Will and Grace but when you do a show like that its easy to be type casted but Debra Messing did a great job and selling me another great character. One thing I didnt like in the series the involvement of her daughter with her suitors. call me old fashion ( Im 23, lol ) but I think you should get your children involved with them especially right away. poor girl saw her mommy with two different mean. Plus the fact probably dealing with her parents divorce. maybe im looking too deep in it. im not dr phil.

pity, the only thing that i have to say about all the episodes on here is that the commercials from WalMart...are so very annoying..they could have changed it up a little bit...gave me a head ache!!!!!!!!!!

I loved this miniseries and hoped it would continue on. I just read on the USA website that it is coming back! New episodes this fall! I am so excited to see this new favorite! Great addition, HULU - I hope you will carry the new fall episodes as well. A truly great story with great acting and casting.

I don't know if it was the right show at the right time, for me, but this one was very nicely done and came at just the right time in the right format. WaHOO hulu! Very nicely done! Uplifting story, challenging issues, well acted and all very nicely packaged..well worth a weekend on the couch to watch it all, back to back. thanks

This was the best ever. I hate that there was only one season I would watch this fathfully if it was still on TV. The ending was the best I was hoping she did not end up alone. I like that she chose love over money and she made sure she was ready before she made a choice

i missed the first run of this on USA and I am glad to be able to watch it here on Hulu. i thought it was a TV movie, so i was surprised to see that it was a mini-series. i enjoyed the cast and the "inside" look, though whimsical mainly, at hollywood life. i'm not sure i bought the ending, but it was sweet and tied things up nicely, which is partially why i don't buy it entirely....LOL.

all in all, a good "watch" - and nice to see the episodes consecutively! i recommend it. debra messing is always a delight - and the entire cast is well-cast, so to speak. each one did a wonderful job.

Omg the ending was perfect. at first I thought O great a stupid ending with all these unanswered questions but then time went on and then all the answers I wanted were revealed I was satisfied. I love the Starter Wife!!

grear cast it hits on alcholism,suicide(faked),homelessness,infidelity,promiscuity, but the dream sequences puts each episode into context hollywoods version of being homeless of suicide of infidelity but the message that rich people are frivolous,snobbish comes through and the script is contrived... the only thing real was the friendships it was enjoyable as entertainment the funniest scene was Debra Messing playing Bambi the movie makes me want to be homeless around the Colony I can dream too
