After hearing for years that this was a good movie and that the ceiling baby scene is a known thing regardless of if you've seen this or not i thought I'd check out trainspotting, plus "free on hulu" meant i didn't have to download it, which I like allot. A very visually appealing movie with interesting things done with transitions, but more importantly how the affect of drugs are shown on screen lets you understand quite well the state of mid of the characters. A gracious addition of some dark comedy made what could have been a slow watch, move briskly while not detracting from the serious notes, the world feels real and real gritty. If you wanna watch something that is enthralling and at times disgusting or your student of film wanting to learn how to make something artistic without turning it "lynchian" this is for you.
