Really great movie about looking for love in all the wrong places..;)

I think Jody wanted Fergus to see her, but if Fergus knew the truth he may not go. The humor of the situation was not lost on Jody. It did work well for Fergus and Dil. See 2 other replies

Well, I didn't know. It was a surprise to me except that when I first saw her in the hair salon or wherever, I thought, "what is she a man?" because she looked like it. But then I figured, I guess not. The story suggests otherwise; and went along with it.
