I enjoy the show, but I'd call it a science fiction (sci-fi) show. I know someone else mentioned its "historical accuracy," but that claim doesn't work (granted, I'm an historian). Yes, for example, in Ep 3, Finch mentioned that "Sir Robert Peel" went to Paris to learn techniques developed by "Alphonse Bertillon." That would be difficult for Peel to do, unless he had a time machine! Why? Peel died 3 years before Bertillon was born! Now, both were real enough men: Peel founded the modern form of the police force (developing the police force for London at Scotland yard), but he died in 1850; Bertillon was born in 1853 and he did develop many techniques used to law enforcement, including a measurements technique for identification. I also noticed a similar mixed up "history" in an earlier episode. That said, I suggest one does what I did, suspend all "historical belief" and enjoy the scientific fiction of Peacemakers. Yes, I would have watched more seasons, too. Cheers!
