In credible ending! Michael Redgrave plays the role of a regretful, alcoholic, absentee father perfectly. There are few of the trite alcoholic mannerisms (swollen tongue, tipsiness, etc.). The editing techniques are a little choppy, belittling the direction and cinematography, but otherwise very tight. Worth the watch.
