Just watched all 6 seasons. Great show !!!!!!! The ending was sad, but at least it was a good ending. Duncan Mcloed continues to fight for the good, and the watchers keep on watching.No dought that Tessa was Duncans really true love, Amanda was a different kind of love. Too bad shows like this are not made today, instead we have stupid, idiodic reality shows, of which I do not watch at all.At least here I can watch The Highlander as awften as I want, as long as HULU keeps it here. I think " The Amazing Grace" for the ending was VERY appropriate.

Amazing Grace, really? This is the worst ending to any series, even worse than the last episode of Seinfield.

Let's not forget that the last season was aimless and just plain boring... but this 2 part series ender should've been a home run. Should have really had more to offer than "accept who you are". And we get a 5 minute montage and nothing else! They had 13 episodes to do something special and they opted to trot out some immortal chicks and give them god awful lines to say. Pathetic.

I was pleasantly surprised that the ending was not a rehashing of flashbacks, the montage was a nice touch. I was sad to see the series end but the writing in the 6th season was not there. When I tell people I have been watching this series and several other old series online they can't believe that it could be entertaining all I have to say is some of these old shows are so much better put together than the junk on TV today.Duncan MacLeod - A great and noble champion of the people.
Methos - Inspiring, wise, and wonderfully dark at times and sarcastic.
Joe Dawson - The glue that holds it all together.
Fitz - Complete comic relief.
Amanda - Over rated.I will watch this series over again, in the future, it is timeless.

What a series, what good characters and what found memories to have; espically with such characters as Fitz! ( quote/title may not be exact) I never really watched any of the series, I only watched the movies. But that changed when I got the chance to get my hands on the dvd set of season 1. After that I tried finding the rest of it and wound up here on Hulu thankfully. Took me 3 months to finish seasons 2-6. This is by far one of the best tv series there was in the 90s, no doubt about it. To have a hero like Duncan Macleod, with his swordplay and his teachers, is something that I think is missing today in a sense. All the main characters were great from Richie and Tessa, to Amanda, Methos and of course Fitz; lol even that frenchman whose name I forget and Charlie DeSalvo were good characters. The stories and the way Mac would approach things made an impact on me, making me think about my own life and those around me; like Lost, Star Trek, House and Battlestar Galactica, the show has left an impression on me that helps me view life in a different perspective for the better, than if I wouldn't have seen it. The best seasons in my opinion would have to be 3-4, with notable mentions of some episodes from seasons 1, 2, and 5. Season 6 just seemed to be out sync with a part of the show, like the engine was winding down; if things had been different, if could have gone on for longer. The ending is bittersweet, as it ends the series in a good way, but at the same time they weren't the best episodes that I've seen. Good show that ended too soon. In the end, Highlander was a really good series that gave everyone something to reflect on and taught us a little something about life and history; man what wonders one could see if you were immortal. Thanks to the people who created the series and to Hulu for putting it up!

Great series and granted they couldn't include every effect of a world without Duncan but hello? Ahriman? That and I believe they established/suggested several times in the series that the radar coudl tell one immortal coming from 2 so wouldn't the bad guy have known it wasn't his dude with the gun?
