Agreement
I just finished seasons 1-3, and this is by far the best episode I've seen yet. If I was going to steer someone towards this series, I would send them to this episode.

The Greatest
This episode is easily my favorite Highlander episode of all time. There are so many great moments in this episode. Duncan's first contact with another immortal, his first love, and the death of his father. We get to see the defining moment of Duncan's early life, as he takes up his father's sword to avenge him, and solidifies his identity as Duncan MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod.

This ep
This episode stands in most Highlander fan minds as a top 3 if not top 1 of all time. I have always loved this episode and the decision to include Bonny Portmore as a running theme only adds to the depth of feeling. Kanwulf is a great bad buy though it's obvious he's never been a Christian priest before since he says something like "the Good Book says there is good in every heart." I thought this line, whether intentionally stated this way or not added much to Kanwulf's character.
