Australia: Land Beyond Time

Well, it didn't really 'floated away', it merely "Shifted" away by the process of plate tectonics and a sluggishly adjusting crust of the earth. It doesn't happen in 24 hours like a stupid movie of 2012, but it happens in a very slow process of at most two inches every decade.
