I've always wanted to be a fighter pilot! The only thing stopping me is that I have Asperger's. On the other hand, maybe I'll go get a waiver...As a former Webelos Scout, I salute all the great heroes who serve our country!

This was fabulous. I'm sending all my friends to watch this superb video showcasing the most powerful military force ever to exist on this earth working with its allies to achieve a common goal - peace..I simply cannot understand those few people that rated this movie poorly. It is odd: seems like 90% of viewers rate it a five star and 10% a one star. The only explanation I can think of is that those not liking the video are those types who want to dimantle our military, and negotiate with terrorists like Iran.

...and I really did not like the bad acting. Just to be clear, I have a great respect for our military and God bless all our warriors.

i am an f15 weapons technician. i maintain those eagles and i love it.this documentary, while highly stylized, was one of the best films on the air force ive ever seen. incredibly accurate. it made me want to go to work. i was in this red flag as well,though my squadron had no part in this doc. i knew many of the pilots and other maintainers who were shown in the film. its nice to see somthing that shows the real air force, the life blood, aircraft. maybe when people watch this theyll take back those "chair force" remarks. red flag isnt the only time this type of exercise happens. we do this on a daily basis, 12 hour shifts, no weekends, chasing the all important sortie. there were some parts i didnt like, however. it could have sspent more time acctually explaining what was going on interviewed some pilots and maintainers. but itll give you a pretty basic idea of what happens. I'm not slamming this movie by calling it a commercial for the Department of Defense. On the upside: The camera operators have unprecedented access to the planes and the Red Flag Operation and the footage is probably the best I've ever seen of these high tech machines in action.
However, this production is also too glossy and over-produced like those fashion models in the fashion magazines who don't really exist. I'm not saying the footage was faked (although the pyrotechnic stuff was staged with Hollywood-style pyrotechnics) but there isn't much "reality" here. It's scripted, staged, photographed and scored to illicit feelings of pride and awesomeness.
I would have enjoyed some non-scripted interviews with pilots and operations officers - anything to humanize what is essentially a VERY robotic-feeling production.

Powerful, awe inspiring, heart felt, beautiful.One of my favorite parts is the downed-pilot training near the end. You can't help but root for the guy and almost feel like you are in it with him. "Go get'em" I kept saying. It is a marvelous piece of film making and a must watch on Hulu.com.
