Sanders (Richard Todd) is some sort of police guy in Africa and one of his men has been stabbed. The investigation leads him up river and back again, somehow winding around to a diamond smuggling operation. Along the way there are a bunch of paper characters that don't really have a lot to do, including a blond nurse whose chimpanzee like delivery and expression suggests that she may have studied acting under Dr. Zaius from Planet of the Apes. While Todd takes his role pretty seriously, the movie is at best luke warm, which makes the relatively short running time seem longer. The name of the movie is the coolest thing about it. This one shouldn't go near the top of your 'to see' list.
