This is 1970. I was seven. Take ten kids into the same environment in 2012 and nothing would change in conversation. Even the music has come full circle. So what does that say about us?

Do not read till after the Film . . .

Its funny though what people may think and wonder what ever happened to these "Kids"
and where they "might be headed with their attitudes".
1 success story we may know of is Alex Zivojinovich . . .
He's now known as Alex Lifeson, Guitarist of the Multi-Platnum Progressive Rock band
"Rush". I had always wondered where the "Family Table" clip came from on the Rush Doc "Rush: Behind the Lighted Stage", and here it is.

I must admit I watched it for that reason, but found it real interesting of a time when I was just a kid in suburbia, and far removed from the communal living that was prevalent of the time (or just peaking).

That's what it seems like to me, almost... but the intro seemed written by the kid , I hope it was since it'd be creepy coming from an adult. Scary, teens & a newborn together w/so many serious drugs, but it doesn't sound like they weren't better off at home, & it was different then? I hope they're all ok now!

After watching Allan King's "A Married Couple" and liking it, I moved on to this. While I admire King's ability to capture people on film not acting, the subjects of the film aren't nearly as interesting. It also could have used some trimming in the amateur rock department, but overall it's still poignant. Some parts are a little hard to get through, but you've got to remember that these are teenagers, so yo can expect a certain amount of nonsense. Give it a try, if you like King's style, you might like it.
