The 1947 Michigan here might as well be Georgia after the Revolutionary War. Sluggish plot moves like molasses and even through the back into Earth's past stuff might work---it sure doesnt here.
Like the previous episode where Will is beamed into a small Vermont town, both these episodes would have been much better had the writers PROJECTED these people into the future, thus creating more interesting environments. Here, these people are like Green Acres or Petticoat Junctions characters--one dimensinal and dull. And the girl who befriends Will offers high shcool acting at its worst!
Not even the Robot has any funny quips to save this one. Along with The Vegetable Rebellion episode to come, the worst epsidode of Season 3.
