The carrot monster was absolutely the worst and Dr. Smith running around in celery form (celery? odd ivy more like it or some kind of creeper) was just as dumb looking. The dollar store (equivalent) props are hilarious including the crazy gas pump water nozzle that "Tae bo" uses (Tae bo? Is that really his name?) I'm also pretty sure the bipedal arugula that chased Will and Penny around was used in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. Don't get me started on the color choices for the uniforms and fixtures on the ship. The carrot Man is ridiculous and one of the worst NON-Creations in the entire series but there are some interresting plot elements along the way. Great scene of Dr. Smith as a contented Celery Stalk and finally, the Robot is honored with a Birthday Party--long overdue!!! Some silly lines and cheap effects here and there save this episode from being a total dud. And as we know, there a several episodes worse than this. But that Carrot Man!!!! Yikes!!!

I have always loved "Lost In Space" no matter how dumb some of the storylines may have been and this episode is no exception. I bet the Robinson family wished they'd have brought a "salad shooter" for this one. And Mom said that vegetables wouldn't hurt you!
