The fat, drunken, sweaty, loser younger brother. The grasping entitled sister, the ice cold mother. The only difficult thing to believe is that Rich isn't on to Eleanor and her ways. Her behavior can't be new.
It's not real for me, and I don't want it to be real for me. I avoid drama in real life, so why endure it on TV? I think I'm done with this show, as much as I like Richard.

Inbred thing? This is family politics as usual with a gold-filigree framing it. There are just usual item being further blown into greater proportions due to the family. Just think of what the Kardashians have fights about. It's just all usual with a secondary plot theme due to the staff; staff talk about the CEO, the boss, the second-in-command as usual in large companies. It seems someone has been a bit sheltered. I've been figuratively "smacked in the face" by details of family, friends, and co-workers enough that I avoid creating much connection with co-workers to avoid real drama. Entertainment end when it's real for me..
